State of the SPOON – August 2023

Carolyn Moore, Policy & Advocacy Advisor, and Mishelle Rudzinski, Co-Founder & Executive Director, discuss the care reform movement and how SPOON is supporting children to remain in, or return to, family care.

Note: Due to technical difficulties, the recording began a little late. In the introduction that was not recorded, Samhita Reddy, Director of Development, introduces Carolyn and Mishelle and outlines what will be covered during the presentation. Mishelle begins to share about the importance of mealtime for children’s growth and development. However, feeding and nutrition challenges can also present themselves during mealtime, becoming very difficult for families without adequate support.
