The distance learning curriculum that Kate speaks about in our Global Update Video is being used by one of our partners in Tanzania. Right now!
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced SPOON’s Programs Team to quickly pivot with our partners at The Small Things in Nkoaranga. The trainings we would have delivered in person this month have been transformed into online training courses as well as training on the use of our mHealth app Count Me In.
Our team has produced 5 new modules already. Two weeks in to the curriculum, The Small Things team has been able to cover “Growth” through a comprehensive and interactive curriculum with focus areas like “Functions of Food.”
Our global partners from Tanzania to the Oregon Foster Care System are still training and learning and hungry for more.
Please help us keep programs operating to keep children healthy and growing. Our team is up to the challenge but we must keep these programs funded and partnerships connected in order to protect children who are highly vulnerable to malnutrition and disease.
