Children with disabilities are twice as likely to die from malnutrition because global health and nutrition systems were not designed to reach them. Learn why.
Every child has the right to be included and nourished.
SPOON transforms children’s services from the inside. We equip professionals with the skills, tools, and evidence to identify and support the children who would otherwise be excluded. Learn how we work.
Many organizations fight malnutrition. Many fight for disability inclusion. Only SPOON is ensuring that a malnourished child with a disability can actually be identified, fed safely, and supported.
We embed nutrition and feeding practices into the health systems, care facilities, and communities that serve these children. We don’t distribute food. We don’t build parallel programs. We train the people already in these children’s lives, give them an app to assess, plan, and monitor care, and then use the resulting data to push for the systemic changes that make inclusion permanent. Inclusion that lasts means better outcomes for ALL children.
