Cassandra Amos

What I Do: As a member of SPOON’s Development team, I support fundraising efforts while also providing administrative support to SPOON’s Board of Trustees.

Background: I received my bachelor’s degree in Environmental & Social Justice Advocacy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Certificate in Fundraising from the NYU School of Professional Studies, and have spent the last two years working in development roles with small nonprofits in Portland.

Why I SPOON: I care deeply about promoting equity for marginalized populations. Children with disabilities and children living outside of family care are among the most overlooked in the world, and I am proud to support an organization that is making a meaningful difference in their lives.
